KumoScope – Privacy Policy
Introduction
KumoScope (“the App”) respects your privacy and handles information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
## 1. Location Information
With your permission, the App uses your device’s location and heading information to display maps, clouds, rain clouds, and weather information around your current location.
This information is used solely to provide the App’s features. It is not stored on servers managed by the developer, used for advertising, or sold to third parties.
You can grant or revoke access to your location at any time through the Settings app on your device. You may still use the App without granting location access, but certain features, such as automatically moving the map to your current location, may not be available.
## 2. Information Stored on Your Device
The App may store the following settings locally on your device:
* Rain cloud display settings
* Cloud opacity
* Cloud display mode
* City and place-name display settings
* Prefectural boundary display settings
* Map orientation settings
* Information displayed near your current location
* The last displayed weather information and time
* Other display-related preferences
This information is used to restore your preferences the next time you open the App. It is not transmitted to servers managed by the developer.
Information stored locally by the App is normally deleted when you uninstall the App.
## 3. Communication with External Services
The App communicates with the following external services to provide maps and weather information.
### Apple MapKit
Apple MapKit is used to provide maps, satellite imagery, current-location features, and other map-related functionality.

### Japan Meteorological Agency
The App obtains meteorological information from the Japan Meteorological Agency, including satellite imagery, rain cloud information, precipitation forecasts, and weather distribution data.

When communicating with these services, information such as your IP address, communication date and time, device or network information, and the geographic area of the requested map or weather imagery may be processed by the respective service providers.

## 4. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking
The App does not display advertisements.
The App does not include third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking SDKs.
The App does not track your activity for advertising purposes or link your information with information obtained from other companies’ apps or websites.
## 5. Sharing of Personal Information
The developer does not collect, sell, rent, or otherwise provide your personal information to third parties.
Information may only be disclosed when required by applicable laws or legally binding requests.
## 6. Data Management and Deletion
The App does not require you to create an account, and the developer does not store your personal information on developer-managed servers.
To delete settings stored locally by the App, uninstall the App from your device.
You can change the App’s permission to access your location at any time through the iOS Settings app.
## 7. Children’s Privacy
The App may be used by people of any age.
The App does not knowingly collect names, email addresses, or other information that directly identifies users, including children.
## 8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when features are added to the App, when the services used by the App change, or when applicable laws and regulations change.
If significant changes are made, notice will be provided within the App or on the webpage where this Privacy Policy is published.
